Artist Statement

I address two topics in my paintings: Sociology and the Environment.
My artistic style is bright and bold incorporating blended colors, clean lines and texturized accents. Female forms are my representation of beuty and portals for communicating reality in an unrealistic way. I'm not trying to change the world with one painting. I'm more interested in painting a changing world. Modern art in style, I'm inspired by Picasso's and Brancus's depictions of strength through simplification.
